Beginning at 10:45 a.m.

Depart from Uyuni towards the Train Cemetery, 10 minutes away from the town. The small town of Colchani is like the entry gate to the Salt flats, where local people exploit Salt manually and likewise, you can also buy salt made handcraft.  - Uyuni Salt Flats are about 10.582 km2. The salt crust is 6 to 10 meters deep, becoming the biggest salt layer around the world, about 10 million tons of Salt (sodium chloride), lithium, boron, magnesium, potassium, strontium, etc. - Salt pyramids, are piles of salt stacked and exposed to the sun light to dehydrate, after this process, salt is moved to Colchani to be processed and commercialized.  - Salt Hotel, first hotel build with salt adobes. Located inside the Salt Flats, works only as museum where visitors can hang out and take pictures inside. Before returning to Uyuni, you will be able to see the sky’s reflection on the Salt Flats, commonly known as the world’s largest mirror. These impressive scenarios can be appreciated where there is water concentrated. This is a very popular place for tourists because you can take extraordinary pictures of the sunset and Salt reflections.
