Departure towards the northeast of the Sucre city to Chataquila (a church built of stone), from this point begins the Inca Trail (prehispanic path) that last about 2 hours and half, a paved trail of 4.5 km, built by ancient pre-Hispanic inhabitants by which they transported their products in llamas. Going down from the top of the mountains to the Chataquila Chaunaca you can see a wonderful landscape of the Cordillera de Los Frailes, it can also see the crater of Maragua and mountains in the area, and native flora of the region.
This tour starts at 08:00 am. Return to Sucre in the late afternoon.
