Departure towards the northeast of the Sucre city to Chataquila (a church built of stone), whose landscape provides a beautiful scenery of the Andes Mountains.
After to visit this church it begins the hike to the cave paintings of Incamachay lasting about 5 hours, round trip. Incamachay is a collection of paintings painted red and white dating approximately of 2500 years ago that may have corresponded to the Willow culture. At 1000 meters of these paintings it also found Pumamachay cave paintings, pictographs made in black color that it’s said to belong to the Huruquilla culture, with an approximate age of 1500 years.
